Shared event paragraph

This event is part of #FemaleFounderWeek, a citywide week of independently hosted events connecting women founders with knowledge, relationships, and opportunities to move their companies forward. Learn more at https://femalefounderweek.com/

You remain responsible for ticketing and delivering your event.

Creating a Luma event does not submit it to the official calendar.

Write your event description · After creation

11 Expand your event description

Open your event description to edit it. Help a founder decide whether this is the right room for her. Copy these prompts into your description, then replace each bracketed note with your own details.

Description outline

Who this is for [Describe the founder audience, stage, or industry.] What to expect [Describe the format, agenda, and confirmed contributors.] What you will leave with [Name the practical knowledge, introductions, feedback, or opportunities.] About the host [Introduce your organization and explain how to contact the event team.]

Paste into your Luma description and replace all bracketed text before submitting.

Keep the shared Female Founder Week paragraph at the end.

Need writing help? Read the event description guide.

Be specific about the value. Distinguish confirmed speakers and arrangements from plans.

Finish registration and submit

12 Add the shared registration questions

Luma collects names and email addresses. Keep additional questions focused on information needed to deliver the event.

Waiting on the final requirements. The exact shared questions and attendee information-sharing wording will appear here before submissions open. Leave this step unchecked until those requirements are available and added to your event.

13 Give Female Founder Week management access

In your event dashboard, choose Add Host, add the designated Female Founder Week account, and enable Manager access. A public host name alone does not grant management access.

This allows our team to review details, coordinate event communications, and access registration information. Your team remains responsible for costs, venue, vendors, and on-site delivery.

Host account coming soon. The exact account will be provided here when submissions open. Leave this step unchecked until access has been granted.

14 Preview your event as an attendee
  • Set event visibility to Public.
  • Check the title, date, timezone, address, tickets, and capacity.
  • Confirm Require Approval is on.
  • Confirm the venue is in the San Francisco Bay Area and the event is in person.
  • Read the description: is the audience and founder outcome clear?
  • Replace every placeholder and check all links.
  • Confirm the shared paragraph, registration requirements, and management access are in place.
  • Check that registration works as intended.

Review the event criteria before submitting.

15 Submit your event for calendar review

When submissions open, use the official calendar link and choose Submit Event. Share your existing Luma event so there is one event page to maintain.

We review the audience, intended outcome, logistics, registration setup, and management access. Submission does not automatically add an event to the calendar.

Submissions are not open yet. The official link will appear below. Check this step only after you have submitted through Luma.
