How to host
A practical overview of the process, with clear links to the required submission steps and optional hosting guidance.
1 · Shape the event
Choose the founder audience and intended outcome first. Use the event brief to select a format that serves them. Build a realistic budget and confirm a venue before calendar submission.
2 · Create and prepare your Luma event
Use the submission checklist for the title, date, timezone, location, required description paragraph, ticket settings, approval, and capacity.
Creating a Luma event does not submit it to the official calendar. Existing events can be updated instead of recreated.
3 · Complete requirements and submit
Complete the shared registration requirements and give the designated Female Founder Week account management access. Submit the Luma event to the official calendar when submissions open.
The calendar link, host account, and final registration wording are still coming soon. They will be published on the submission checklist before submissions open.
4 · Receive calendar approval
Female Founder Week reviews the audience, intended outcome, logistics, registration setup, and management access. Submission is not automatic acceptance. Promote your event as official after approval.
Your attendee registration approvals are separate: your host team reviews requests to attend your event.
5 · Promote, host, and follow up
Use the host planning checklist to prepare invitations, attendee information, venue logistics, and follow-up. These are recommendations to adapt to your event, not additional calendar submission gates.
You operate your event and remain responsible for costs, tickets, vendors, venue arrangements, and on-site delivery.
